Do you experience Performance Anxiety?

Do You Lock Up?

  • Does your brain lock up? Do you get caught in your head? Do you have tons of thoughts racing through your mind? Do you think “what if?” Do you worry it to death before your event? Does your mind ever tell you that you are not good enough, and that there are people there better than you? Do you experience imposter syndrome? Do you struggle to focus during your performance? Do you ever psych yourself out?

  • Does your heart race? Can you feel your heard pounding before and during the event? Does your mouth get dry? Does your face get hot? Do your hands shake? Do you make awkward hand gestures? Do you experience a flood of stress hormones? And do you get so focused on the anxiety that your physical performance declines and worsens?

  • Do you lose access to information you knew really well when preparing, but when it comes time to perform you lose it? Do you feel like you completely lose contact with the very best parts of what you have to offer? Have you blown it, failed, or embarrassed yourself as a result? Did you feel ashamed afterwards, and like a failure? Maybe even stronger thoughts like being a loser. Has this led you to say no to opportunities that mattered to you? Like you would have said yes and done it if you weren’t afraid of becoming anxious again? Have you missed out on opportunities?

Imagine You Could Get Better

Imagine we shift the goal from having no anxiety to putting anxiety to work to help you perform and even enhance your performance.

What if you could let it flow through you in a way that allowed you to perform and focus on what actually needs to be focused on in the moment.

Not that you would have zero anxiety, but what if you could get better at anxiety?

Imagine you could train your focus and be able to focus on what matters most in this particular moment.

Now let’s move from imagining to believing this is possible if you have a little support, guidance, and lots of practice.
