Are you struggling with grief after losing a beloved pet?

A Psychologist with a Heart for Animals, their Owners, and those who provide their Veterinary Care

  • Therapy for Grieving Pet Owners

Have you lost an animal that you loved with your whole heart, and are you deeply grieving that loss in a very real way? Are you struggling with waves of deep sadness, and need help working through these emotions? Are you struggling with things like guilt, such as doubt about whether you made the right decision? Or, did you accidentally make a mistake that you cannot undo (such as not seeing something early enough, or a vehicle accident)? Are you struggling to forgive yourself? If you relate to any of this, it would be a privilege to help you do this important work

  • Help for the Helpers

Does the work of serving animals ever get heavy? Are some things tough to unsee or unknow? Have you witnessed abuse or neglect of animals? Were there times you couldn’t save them, and this gets to you?

If any of this connects with you, I would be happy to meet with you to discuss your experience and pay honor to it. Together we will do our best to do a very kind piece of work that strengthens you to persist in your journey of serving animals.

Unrelenting Love

I have loved and lost many wonderful animals over the years, and continue to choose to love new animals-—knowing full well it will hurt in equal measure when it comes time to lose again.

With time I have learned to stay with the sadness, to the point of choosing to be with each animal until their last breath. I hold their paw. I speak in their ear. I allow myself to feel fully so they do not have to be alone. And I have come to find it’s worth it, to choose that.

If you need a guide through sorrow, or any other difficult experience, it would be a privilege to do that work with you.
